Every cookie this site can set, who sets it, what it is for and how long it lasts — and how to take back a yes.

In short

This site sets no cookies unless you agree to analytics. If you do, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity set the cookies listed below so Delta can see how the site is used. If you refuse, or never answer, none of them is set.

How the information they collect is handled is in the privacy notice.

Necessary

Two things are kept in your browser’s own storage rather than in cookies, and neither is ever sent to Delta or anyone else. They need no consent because they do only what you asked for.

Necessary browser storage
NameSet byWhat it doesKept for
dms-consent This site, in your browser Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so you are not asked on every page. 12 months, then you are asked again
dms-quote-draft This site, in your browser Keeps what you have typed into the enquiry form if you leave the page before sending it. Until the enquiry is sent

Analytics, with your consent

Google Analytics 4 counts visits: which pages are read, how people arrive, what kind of device they use, roughly where they are, and whether they called, emailed or sent an enquiry. Google keeps this data for 14 months.

Microsoft Clarity records how pages are scrolled and clicked, and turns that into heatmaps and session replays, so Delta can see where the site gets in people’s way. Anything typed into the enquiry form is masked before it leaves your browser. Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days and click and heatmap data for 13 months.

Neither is used for advertising: the site tells both tools that advertising storage and personalisation are refused, whatever you choose.

Changing your mind

Cookie settings, at the foot of every page and below, reopens the question. Rejecting after accepting deletes the analytics cookies this site set and stops both tools from running.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Google and Microsoft explain their own handling in the Google privacy policy and the Microsoft privacy statement.
